I need to replace a hydraulic hose on my FEL. Will just operating it purge the air or do I need to do something more?

I've never had to purge air with a simple hose replacement, just be sure to tighten the fittings and check for leaks.

Actually, unless you filled the hose with oil as you installed it somehow, you did purge the system of air when you operated the system afterwards. It was just a non issue…

Installed and no leaks and works fine. $15 seems like a good price, thought about getting a spare but tech said it was a bad hose and not common.
