More than three years ago - October 2021 - I posted here about a bobcat eating my chickens. After getting the appropriate tag from the game warden, I gave it to my daughter who wanted to get it mounted. It spent a couple of years in her game freezer waiting for a slot at the taxidermist.



Here is the result. I think the taxidermist nailed the mount!

Went out this morning to let my sweet chickens out and found this trespasser.

For the past few years, we've seen this massive rat usually in the early morning hours. Roaming about gathering what food the chickens sling all over the place. Well this morning, my little homie took one for the team. If it weren't for him, this bastard may have choked out some chickens.

Had this exact same situation a few years ago but with a king snake. Didn't kill him though.
