Does anyone know if it’s possible to have the front hitch and the loader on together on a BX 25.
Or do I need to remove the front hitch before putting on the loader.
I would obviously have to change over the hydraulics.
In the winter I use my loader to move pallets of firewood to the house ,but when it snows I need the blower on .
I,m disabled and putting on the front hitch is a bitch to install.
So if there is a way ,I would appreciate all and any info you have.

Thanks

How about using a carry all on the rear 3pt hitch for firewood? Leave the blower alone.

I think Anthony has the ticket. At least on my B switching back and forth between loader and blower quick hitch is a non starter as a weekly or daily event. If you get a Quick Hitch of the sort for the 3 pt hitch and a carry all, you can pick that up easy when you want to haul wood, and take it off when you are snow blowing.

Small issue, the BX25 does not have the three point! It's a whole goods option. BX2506

Argh, thanks Pat. Didn't know there were Kubotas without them.

I would think that, as long as you secure the hydraulic hoses from dragging and find a way to keep the front hitch from sagging down, you should be able to do this. Can't think of anything being in the way other than possibly the loader kick stand.

The front quick hitch sits SO LOW to the ground, to keep the blower or blade at the correct angles, I would think it would get hung up on everything. Don’t know if it’s worth leaving it. Also if you leave the driveshaft in place, you must remove any aftermarket skid plate.

If you make a dolly or slightly raised place to put the implements when removed, you can pull the tractor up to its place, and unhook it in a pre made location. It makes it much easier, but still not easy

Not having a 3pt hitch for the BX25 is severely limiting the other functions of owning a tractor. Using the Bx25 for snow blowing & back hoeing really cuts down on a lot of other chores to where the BX can really pay for itself. I don't know the needs of the OP, but making the suggestion of looking into getting a 3pt hitch setup if the situation warrants. I drop my BH & it sits in the barn until needed since my needs for a BH is not as great when I first bought mine. The 3pt gets a workout now that all the stumps & ditches are complete.

Thanks every body for all your suggestions I really appreciate all your help and time ,that’s the good thing about these forums ,you can almost bet that someone out there has come across the same issues that are bothering you.
As far as this issue goes I really like the 3point hitch carrier ,so I might well go that route if I can find some plans .
And for the hell of it next time I might try disconnecting the blower and try putting on the loader with the suggestions from jmf78 about tying up the hoses and clamping the hitch in the highest position how I,m going to do that I,m not sure but I’ll try to work it out .
If that idea fails well all I have lost is the time and unlike many of you I have plenty of it .
Thanks again guys

After the BX24 model, Kubota stopped offering the 3pt hitch with the tractor. The hitch is now an option for the BX25 models, however occasionally EBAY & craigslist will list one. The only other option is ordering thru a Kubota dealer under the whole goods category.
As for the carry all I got mine from Agri Supply, TSC also offers one as well.
