Greetings I am the new owner of elder B8200HSTD.
I would like to remove the Bucket (BF300-A) in order to begin my
service of all radiator hoses. Specifically what are the 2 pair
of props attached tothe frame? I presume they support the loader
when disengaged. Apologies if I am posting in the wrong category.
I would expect someone has already posted such information
but my search inquiries failed me. So any link or direction
will be much appreciated. Chuck

CDKenn, I'll try to talk you through the process. I've got a B8200 I bought new in 1985 and installed the loader '87. I've probably had the loader off 3 times in all those years.

I'll copy this out of the workshop manual... USE YOU OWN JUDGEMENT. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS.

1. Lower the boom and level the bucket.
2. Stop the engine.
3. Remove the connecting bars from the top of the side frame.
4. attach the connecting bars to each side of the bucket with the L-bolts
removed from the front brace.

(These L-bolts are at the front of the hood down low, attaching the loader support arms to the tractor. The connecting bars have the flat end pointing towards the rear of the tractor. The opposite end goes on top of the bucket and attached with the threaded L-bolts.)

5. Next, remove the jam nuts and collar nuts.
6. Remove the wedge bolts, one from the bottom of each side. (Down by
your toes if you were setting on the tractor)
7. Remove the snap pin from the control lever to lower the limit roller onto the lever guide.

8. Start the engine and run at low idle.
9. Slowly move the hydraulic control lever to the rollback position to raise the side frame up and out of the subframe sockets.

10. Stop the engine.
11. Remove the stands which are stored on the left, inside of the front brace.
12. Connect the stand to the bottom of each side frame.
13. Secjure4 with snap pins used in storage of connecting bars.
14. slowly release all hydraulic pressure by moving the hydraulic control lever in all directions.
15. Disconnect the three hoses with quick couplers.
16. reconnect the hose to the carryover pipe.
IMPORTANT; Be sure to connect the hose to the carryover pipe before operating the tractor. Other wise, the hydraulic system will not function.

NOTE: Place a protective cap on the remaining exposed quick coupler ends.

A quick thanks D2Cat. I'm awaiting my owners manual. Are you available for other B8200 questions? I just bought it and although all appears to work, with a few small exceptions,
I'm servicing all fluids, filters etc. as there were no records and it's taking me hours just to power wash. Off to work for now. Thanks again.

Hello and thanks to all.

Regarding the above instructions - since I have not yet received my bucket manual yet-

which 2 hoses out of 3 are "IMPORTANT; Be sure to connect the hose to the carryover pipe before operating the tractor. "

Thanks len. Came right off as you described. The "L" bolts holding the front bar to frame mounts took some "Blaster" and leverage. Pretty whipped fine threads there....The hoses on my unit were self explanatory to connect after removal. I got my manual a few days later, so I appreciate your reply to get the process going.
