Looking at another B7100 4X4 with mower deck. Looks very clean from pictures and says garage kept. Has a little over 1,000 hours on it - What is a good price for a machine with that many hours in good shape? Turf tires and only comes with mower deck.

With no pictures we would just be guessing. Might look here and form an opinion. I do know someone in the Kansas City area that has one for sale that has just had all the fluid changed and spiffed up a bit. Don't know his price though.

What I was thing to link you to was tractorhouse.com

Mine is around 1400 now.
I paid high for mine, $7000, but it came with FEL, backhoe with (2) buckets, front blade, box blade, forks, fuel cans, chains, spare parts, new battery- plus I had first dibs, but I knew another guy was standing there with the cash if I hesitated. Also, anything tractor related in AZ is automatically higher than most places.

I regularly service B-series with 2500 to 3500 hours and most still have a lot of life left.

I have a B7100HSD with 750.0 hrs, new front 6ply ag radial ag tires, all fluids changed, new seat, and some small repairs and spiffing up. It is priced at $4250.00 with a 3 point mounted 48" rotary cutter.

A clean, well cared for, garage kept Kubota diesel with 1000hrs is nothing in terms of hours. Consider yourself lucky if you manage to find that needle in the haystack.

Thanks for all of the replies and advice - I bought one 2 years ago that had 192 original hours - drove a long way to get it but it was worth it. Came with a new box blade.
I do not need another tractor(especially a duplicate) but this one is listed at $3,500 and the price is so attractive I hate to not at least go look at it. Thanks again.

Neil Messick did a video about engine hours on equipment that has been traded in, ... in which he said many hours on an engine is not usually what kills these things.... it’s the peripheral devices/equipment that has been abused/not-maintained. These little diesels can run forever, long after the rest of the tractor is dying.

I would take my trailer with me because at that price, I would bring it home and resell at a good profit. That is if my wife did not become attached to it and want to keep it.
