Hood Removal and Reattach

I have a Kubota 2650. I removed the hood to fix broken fuel line. Is there a trick to getting the hood back on the tractor?

Yes. It has to be near the top of the engine. Then repeat the process you removed it in reverse.

I got it off but am having a hell of a time to get it to line up to put it back on.

Are you trying to do it by yourself?
If you are get someone to help you hold the front up while you align the back.

DO NOT use the wife for the helper unless you've had plenty of prior experience working with her on tasks like this!
