There are two hex nuts welded to the hinge. There is one on the side and another on the back. I'm going to attach a metal basket to the ROPs for carrying chains, tools, etc. and will bolt on the basket using these nuts. Does anyone know what diameter bolts would fit these nuts? My tractor is located in a remote area so I couldn't go to a hardware store to see what fits. Thanks for any help.

Next time you are going to where the tractor is bring an M8 x 125 bolt with you. It may fit.
This is another Kubota oddity. The BX's I've looked at have the welded on nuts and come with a plastic knob/bolt to eliminate rattle.
My B2650 has the welded on nuts, but no bolts. They are not referred to in the parts diagram for the ROPS.
I think that your MX is the same situation as my B.
Kind of odd to provide the welded on nuts, but no bolts!
