Hi everyone just found this site, looks like a great place. i just bought me a B2301 tractor and im rigging up a grapple off the back. beings she didt come with a rear hydrolic option the dealer told me to just run it off the dump/scoop hydrolics to my buxket. well i did that and it works good but is a pain to hook and unhook my hoses behind the bucket arm. my question is i have 2 3/8" 3 way valves that id like to rig in so i can just send the fluid to the front loader or the grapple jaws. the valves are rated for 1500 pounds. do you think these will holdup for that job?

I don't have the specs in front of me, but your hydraulics should be in the 1900-2200 psi range. 1500 would be way to small imo. I would look into a 3rd remote if you want something different. You have the option of factory, or diy.

thank you sylwoody, can you tell me more about a diy hookup boz1989?
This is what I did, almost everything was purchased from surpluscenter.com. I went with the electric valve due to lack of space to mount it. Chose that location so it would be close, and about the only place available. Hoping it will be convenient when (hopefully) I get my grapple bucket. I was hoping to find the correct search for you to see what others have done, many are a lot nicer than what I did. I got all the information I needed by looking at what others did on this site.

I took the pb(power beyond) from the loader valve to the in port. Then the out from the new valve connects to where the pb originally went. I have a fully functioning remote. With an electric valve, you could put the switch anywhere you want.

I think the ball valves you have picked out would work. How often will you switch between the loader and the grapple?

How convenient is it to look back and reach forward for the loader?

There are different ways to do this, just different $$.
I started with the loader valve and went from there.
