Hi I'm new here stumbled on this site trying to find answers about my gf1800e. I bought it from someone who's said it was mowing and then deck just quit on him. I read a post on here saying to replace the o ring in the clutch pack, did that changed the oil and filter now it turns but much too slowly to run the deck by comparison to my father's gf1800. I took it apart again and looked at the one way clutch which has a couple "teeth" for lack of a better description that fall out if not held in and the shaft has some pitting/scaring that I should be able to clean up, hopefully. Anyway any help you guys can give would be much appreciated.

Did you open up the clutch pack and inspect the clutch?

The one way will either work or it won't it normally will no slip but if worn enough it possible.
