This is a confusing situation.
Messicks only shows Integral power steering on the L245DT which means the hydraulic action all happens inside the steering box.

However, the available non Kubota WSM shows a boost type power steering on some models.

It is possible someone fitted a booster unit on your tractor or Messicks info on older tractors like your L245DT is not complete.

The booster cylinder is not a normal hydraulic cylinder as the control valve for the cylinder is part of the cylinder.

If your issue is leakage from the end of the cylinder, a hydraulics repair shop may be able to rebuild it.

I don't know who made them, but Kubota sold them. I bought one from a dealer in about 1988 and put it on a B8200. After a few years it failed and I didn't/couldn't get it fixed and purchased a totally different unit to replace it.
