I have an L2850 that needs a new clutch I have a price of $6K to do the job splitting the tractor and replacing clutch. looking for someone that might be able to do the job for less. It is an older tractor and not sure if it is worth putting more that $2-3K into it? Other than the clutch the tractor runs well and the hydraulics are sound.

Hello
I would fly from California to Connecticut and put a clutch in your tractor for half that. $6000 sounds a little out of line. 8 hours labor with no loader plus 3 or 4 hours depending on type of loader. Plus parts. Even at dealer labor rates of $100 to $135 that is a little high.
Good luck Lance

I think 6K is the "I don't really want to do it price but if you insist"
