I am the proud owner of a l245dt that is I'm in the process of trying to find ag tires for. Well I have found a fellow kubota locally that has a l2550 with ag tires and he is wanting to sell for a set of turf tires. What I need to know is will his wheels bolt up to my hubs on my tractor. According to the specs I have found the tires that's on it are the same as what mine had from the factory but I can't find any bolt pattern specs. Please let me know if they will interchange thanks all.

Perhaps exchange bolt pattern information with him by phone. Numbers of lugs per corner and distance between them.

Cheers

Just going off the parts diagrams the rear axle and wheel part numbers are different but the bolt patterns look almost identical. They look close enough I think it's worth a look. Take your wheels over there and measure the two sets before swapping. Also make sure the inner diameter of the rims are the same or won't interfere with anything. Likewise for the wheel offset.

Rocknocker,
I'm pretty sure the L245 and the L2600 are the same bolt pattern with a very slight difference in the rear wheel offset, but you really need to bolt them on to know for certain they'll fit unless you're both good at measuring and communicating what's what and check every aspect such as back spacing.

WARNING: DO NOT ASSUME THOSE AG TIRES ARE AN ACCEPTABLE SUBSTITUTE FOR THE TURF TIRES UNLESS THEY'RE BOTH THE EXACT SAME ROLLING CIRCUMFERENCE FOR BOTH FRONT AND BACK TIRES!!!!!

I just ran into 2 different Kubota's where the dealer book said it could come with the different size combinations, and they wouldn't work in application because it changed the gear ratio. The tractors can come from the factory with turfs,ag, or industrial but that doesn't mean each different tractor leaves the factory with the exact same front and rear gear ratio's. If the size is not within 2% it can and will cause something to break that's very expensive to fix.

If you email me cwtireal@gmail.com with what the different tires are..your turf size and brand and the ag tires size and brand I will try and look up the rolling circumference and do the math and let you know if they'll work.
