I bought a B7100d and when letting the clutch out it has a vibration. If you let the clutch out slowly it’s worse and sometimes is hard to get out of gear because of the vibrating. Once out of gear the vibration stops. It was supposed to have a new clutch when I bought it recently. Any help would be much appreciated . I do most my own repairs and am a Toolmaker by trade. Thanks

It feels like something is out of balance ……could it be a bad pilot bushing causing the output shaft to shake?

Could be a broken "lever" or spring - did this do this from the beginning?

Did you replace the pilot bushing when you replaced the clutch or not replace it?

Did you replace the throw out bearing also?

There may be a small cover on the side that allows you to put grease into a zerk fitting that lubricates the carrier for the throw out bearing but not the bearing itself. You may be able to see what is moving around and vibrating?

I have no real idea but it sounds like a bad bushing or something that allows the shaft to move.

The B77100D has a single plate dry disk clutch.

When I fist read your post I was thinking your issue had to do with the brief period of time when the clutch is getting engaged. A condition usually called "CHATTER," and caused by :

Clutch chatter is usually caused by contamination of the clutch disc friction surfaces. Contamination can be caused by oil or hydraulic fluid leaking onto the clutch disc. Chatter can also be caused by loose bell housing bolts, broken engine mounts, and a damaged clutch linkage.

Re-reading your post it seems like my initial reaction was wrong.

Any time the transmission is rotating you are experiencing vibration. The only involvement of the clutch is to initiate the rotation which is causing the vibration.

However, if the transmission is in neutral and the clutch pedal released is the vibration happening and with the same intensity?.

If the flywheel and disk were out of balance the vibration should be happening in neutral with the engine running.

If possible getting more history of the tractor's operating condition before the clutch replacement would tell a lot.

Please clear up the neutral gear selection and clutch released situation.

It may be that the problem has little to do with the clutch.

It always stops when you put it in neutral and aften stops when you push the clutch a couple of times. Could it be the coupling at the input shaft of the trans?

Just want make sure you know it's intermittent.....can usually drive it around with no vibration.....it's worse when slipping the clutch for slowing down or taking off easy.

I have heard that some after market clutch disks fall apart so did you use OEM or after market parts.

Sounds like you’re going to have to split it again to see what is going on with the clutch. But I am not a trouble shooting expert either.

I would be very suspicious of the pilot bushing. If it is missing or worn the clutch might be slighly off-centre when it engages.
