Hello,

I have inherited a B6200 with the D850 motor. This past winter, the tractor started having issues when it gets warm it starts struggle to the point of even stalling at full throttle. If I let the tractor starts and runs fine when totally cool but after about 5-10 minutes of usage, the RPMs start lowering and bouncing around and as it seems to get warmer, it struggles more. I can let the tractor completely cool down and it will work fine for the 5-10 minutes then start acting up again.

During our troubleshooting process, we have replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel injectors, and glow plugs. I also took apart the fuel lines and fuel tank and gave them a complete cleaning along with putting in new fuel. the only item that I haven't replace in the fuel system would be the injector pump because its pretty expensive and when I removed it to look at it, they seemed nice and stiff (of course, I can't really check it when the tractor warm and having the issues).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe the fuel tank venting system is plugged. When it starts to slow down again loosen the fuel cap to see if the engine speeds up. I do not have my 7200 handy to look at how the venting works and assuming it is the same as a 6200. Not sure if the tank vents through the cap or if the two small rubber hoses are part of the vent system.

Based on everything you have done ........... which is quite a bit ............

This geared or HST?

What is the oil situation like? New when?

IF HST - what happens IF you place it in neutral ?

IF you can - once the problem starts - have a way to see HOW much fuel is coming from the pump, might be hard to do - but somewhere you have a fuel problem - or an engine that is overheating to a point of slowing down. I hope it is the first problem!

It is an HST. I did test it in neutral and the problem is still there with no changes.

The oil usually gets changed every spring by the previous owner and was changed last spring before the problem accrued the following winter.

I will get some clear fuel lines and replace all the ones going to/from the pumps and injectors and give that a test. I wouldn't think its an overheating issues. Everything in the cooling system seems to be working fine (also forgot to add we changed out the air filter also) and it could be sitting there idling in the middle of winter and the problem will still happen.

No. Stop throwing parts at it.

Clear fuel lines aren't going to do a thing. Verify the fuel flow by disconnecting a line before the injector pump and seeing how much is actually coming out.

And don't assume it's not an overheating issue. Verify the temperature. Does it have a working temp gauge? Have you verified that gauge with an IR thermometer?
