Reader's Digest version. Had a set of forks made to fit pin on bucket of the L3200 that we sold, so needed another set. This time used a QA frame so they'll fit the L4240 or anything else with QA. Used 48" bale spears, a frame I picked up cheap and scraps I had stashed. Works great. Needs paint.

Look good. I'd suggest some expanded metal on the guard on top. Might keep your hood from scratches.

I like your grooves. Did your just do the fronts?

Very nice fabrication.

x2 on the expanded metal as a guard.

It looks built "just right". By that I mean not to strong, not to weak. Just right.

People that are not material engineers tend to build in two ways; over the top strong, or way to weak. It isn't very often that you see it done "just right".

Sure you could make it a lot stronger, but the weight just keeps going up on the attachment and down on the load capacity. Make it too weak and you have a liability that won't last.

One suggestion I would make is weld on a couple D-rings. Between them and the slots you would have about any anchor need covered.

Well done.
