I have been removing the 3PH in order to attach the BH. Is this necessary, or is there a position where they can remain attached and not be in the way of the BH?

I doubt you can leave the 3ph in place w/o conflicting the bh subframe. At least relative to my L4760/BH92 that is the case. The bh comes off/goes on in minutes...see You Tube (plus, assuming you're over concrete, get you four carriages for usual use under-tire to scoot vehicles around the shop. Lower the bh onto these to easily scoot it outta your way). It always takes me an inordinate amount of time to r/r the 3ph, though. Wish there was faster way for that part.

I agree with Ron L4760. I have to remove the 3ph on my L3560 for the BH92. Taking off and putting back on is a royal pain, but everything is in the way and needs to be totally removed. I've tried to figure a way to make it easier, but using Neverseize is all I came up with. Also, I made a "dolly" to move the BH around the barn.

I have a dolly (built from some measured drawing I got off this site) and the BH on/off is a breeze. Messing with the 3PH parts is what takes the time.
