I love my HF quick hitch, but the hook binds a bit on my carryall. I found this replacement hook that moves the front of the hook farther back from the bolts. I'll report back after I try it out

Hey Bucky, is that Madison, PA?

Have couple of friends up that way, they are vendors of mine and work with Exelon Power Generation.

Finally had a chance to install the new hook today

Turns out the Harbor Freight Quick Hitch had slightly undersized bolt holes (probably made over-seas) , so I had to drill the holes out to standard 1/2"

Here's the stock HF hook above the new one - the extra 1/2" extension to the rear is noticeable

Finally I can hook up my carryall without the carryall top link mount binding on the HF top link hook mount and bolts! That extra 1/2" off-set of the new hook makes a huge difference!

The HF and other imported QH's use metric bolts, they are (or where in your case LOL) 12mm. Yes they are made in China.
Yep - I checked, the original bolts were 12mm 8.8 (pretty much a ASME grade 5!) Kenny - I wish I knew you were making replacements for the HF QH! I love the bucket hooks I got from you earlier this year and recommend them to all my Kubota neighbors

I welded a piece of 1 inch square stock on mine and drilled new holes for it. I had the same problem with binding and this fixed mine. I also drilled the holes out to 1/2 inch
