Maybe someone can help me out here, mx6000 front pivot where the front end moves up and down I know the front grease fitting located kindly under the radiator has a relief screws to get grease in but the rear fitting located right behind the pivot point on left side of tractor I can't find one and for the life of me I cannot get grease to go in the grease fitting, I took the fitting off just to see if it was stopped up and it's as open as can be , I can pump grease through it no problem but with it screwed back in I cannot get it to take grease, jacked the front end up where I could hand pivot the axle up and down thinking this might take the pressure off but that didn't work either....any ideas would be appreciated on how to get this fitting to take grease

The only way your going to know if it's right or not is to drop the front axle, pull off the rear carrier and see if the grease hole in the bushing is aligned with the grease zerk hole.

Wolfman on your diagram I believe we would be talking about # 150 , Kubota just told me that is prolly the issue and my first fix could be take the zerk out and to drill a hole in the bushing big enough for grease to get in there, are you familiar with this and do you think it would work I definitely don't think it could hurt anything and it is easier than pulling that all apart, he told me just getting the bushing hole lined up with it out might be a job, he also said he's seen several tractors come through with thousands of hours on them and the operator never greased that zerk, I'm prolly gone try the drill fix and if that don't work plug it up and run it!

Dropping and removing it is in my opinion supper easy and takes me about 30 min.
Then yes drilling the hole in the bushing is the easiest fix.

Now here is my issue with doing it in place.
If you drill it too deep all your doing is drilling into and doing damage to a $1490.00 case.
If you drill to shallow, your just wasting time, as you didn't change anything, it still won't take grease.

If you do drill it and not mess up the case too much, you have no way to deburr the back of the drill hole,
so you could inadvertently be adding a wear event to the case, not good!

Spend a little time and remove the propeller shaft, and drop the axle, remove the back carrier, put it on a bench drill it, deburr the back side, reassemble and you and your tractor can live life to the fullest! :giggle:
