I just purchased a new M7060 and was wondering what type grease comes in the tractor from the factory? I want to ensure I use a compatible grease going forward. Thanks!

would not get to hung up about type, get some good synthetic grease and go with the flow:D:)

A good synthetic oil based grease in lithium soap works very well. Some cheaper greases allow the oil to come out of suspension plus it won't flow at lower temperatures, it will extrude, crack off and fall out of the joint.

May be a silly question... but here goes... if you got a new tractor, shouldn't it come with manual or instructions that says what grease to use?

I know the grease question is like ford and chevy. I've bought amsoil and other expencive grease cartages. I've found grease every ten or 20 hrs and everything works great. And if the grease has all the number/letter/certifications then its up to the standards every other grease with thoses ratings have. Save your money on the grease and get a dewalt cordless grease gun.https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/p...ex-nlgi-2-grease-14-oz-cartridge?cm_vc=-10005 I did and love it. Makes greasing alone easy. This is what I buy for grease. And they have the Dewalt grease gun on sale too.

I second the DeWalt grease gun! And a lock’n’lube for it. Almost makes greasing fun...

I just bought a couple of these.
Couple guys here like Mystik fluids.
Only been through half a tube, but seems good.
TSC for $5 or so.

I would definitely recommend Lock n Lube!
