Thanks to the "Average Age of OTT Users" thread, we know we're not a bunch of spring chickens.

22+ years ago, we became the parents of a daughter.

1 minute later, there was another daughter.

Twins 6 weeks pre-mature. Kinda scary, with 2 weeks in intensive care.

18 years later, Valedictorian and Salutatorian of their high school class.

Next month, will be graduating from Cornell University. :)

Thankfully, they look like their mother!!!!

Proud dad? Sure:D

Bless them both! (Though they obviously have been!)

Life gives you kids to serve as mileage markers. You can see time pass in their faces.

You and your wife have every right to be proud!!!

Thanks for sharing.

Congrats RCW! Pretty gals, I'm sure they're mother is beautiful as well. Does make you proud when your kids do well doesn't it?

By the age of my kids and grandkids you can tell I'm an old fart. Daughters are 28 and 34. Grandkids are 2, 6, and 9.......where did the time go?

Congratulations, you must be very proud. I've always heard that's an excellent school so they must be smart as a whip!

Additionally, they are sprinters for the Track & Field Team.

Just watched (online) one of them run a 4x400m relay at Penn Relays in Philadelphia. Placed 6th in the Championship!! Great for an Ivy school.

Congrats!

Must've been...ummmm..."interesting" between the ages of say 12 and 17, eh? :p

I've got two daughters barely a year apart, it was touch-and-go there for a while if daughters or parents were going to survive that period.

All turned out good in the end tho, and now I have grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Where did the time go?

Congratulations :) I have two boys and a girl. Ages 26 to 20. Plus two grandsons 8 and 6. Oldest was the perfect kid. Middle son is still a handful at 23. Daughter is putting herself thru nursing school and works full time. I used to call my daughter the rabid she beast from 13 till 18 :D she turned back into an angel when she graduated high school ;)

Not a problem at all as far as boys go.

I'm 6'4" and 240 pounds....My wife says sometimes I can get "grumpy" in that regard.;)

The boys have always been very polite.....:D

Interesting post,
Kids show your age alright. Yesterday the youngest grand son (19) came home and introduced his girlfriend. He will graduate in June and plans for construction engineering. Time flies.
I must be a hundred years old

Only had one daughter. She was pretty cute at that age...

When she was 10, a guy at work who had three girls in a row gave me the following advice: "Ray, when they grow boobs, they get really stupid. You can't even have a normal conversation with them so don't try. By the time they turn 18, you can start to talk to them again and by the time they hit 20, they are almost back to normal." Dang if he wasn't right!

My 15 year-old... She's 31 now.

Last summer my wife and I were up visiting family. Wife and I ran into my niece out on a dinner date. I'm an identicle twin, but don't give that fact any thought. The family is the same way. I started screwing with her boyfriend giving him a hard time :D Poor kid thought my brother was schizophrenic :D:p:cool:

Update: Their 4x400 relay was 6th in the Penn Relay Championship, against schools like Texas, UTech (Jamaica), Florida St., Duke, Oklahoma, etc.

Their time was sufficient to win the ECAC Championship. ECAC is a large eastern conference for Track & Field.

They got a watch for their ECAC efforts. One of the girls was part of it; the other was an alternate, so they both got in the Victory Pic!:D

The are doing well in the final outdoor season. They closed the indoor season with a couple #2 and #3 times in school history. :D
