I was thinking of adding grab hooks to my grapple. What are your thoughts on doing this? Does anyone have pictures of grapples with hooks or rings?

I added a 2" receiver to mine.

Just in case I needed to move a trailer real quick, but for some strange reason I elected to not add hooks......yet.

Whatever floats your boat and works for you!

A chain and sling seems to work well on my grapple, plenty of areas to sling onto without adding clevises or hooks.

I did drill a hole for adding a clevis to my BH ripper when I fabbed it. Haven't used it yet, chain hooks on well there too.

probably depends on the make of grapple and where you weld on the hooks. If I assume they're on the fixed side, close to the hinge points..'should' be 'ok', maybe..... Might (should ? ) be easy to just hook the hook onto the grapple frame there ??? Or even loop the chain around and grab itself ?
The hooks on a bucket(welded, bolted, slide on) are strong since they are really close to the SSQA mount.
