I take it - that plastic hood has broken into several pieces?need hood
Seems that there is a market for aftermarket body parts that are actually durable enough to provide service that is acceptable to the consumer. Wonder why there is no option available?I take it - that plastic hood has broken into several pieces?

Thank you sir for your welcoming response. I just noticed that according to TractorData the 2100 was built from 2005-2007? Anyway, I haven't found any information that indicates that the replacement part has been improved to be more durable; but boast a cost factor that would imply that it is a high quality product. At $5xx.xx per piece (shell only), there is ample room for both improvement and profit in my humble opinion. Maybe a manufacturer who makes hoods for other companies could just "pop-a-mold" as they do in the boat business sometimes? Always thinking.Patients!
Let me elaborate.Thank you sir for your welcoming response. I just noticed that according to TractorData the 2100 was built from 2005-2007? Evidently you are right. Me, being the survivalist and improvising kind of guy that I am, is thinking of splitting a 20 or 30 gallon plastic (good plastic) drum and modifying it to fit the bill. What do you think would be a fair price for such custom work?Let me elaborate.
Kubota holds the patents to all of the body parts, so others in the aftermarket world, would not dare to make the part.
And there is probably very little profit in such an obscure part.
Thousands in your neck of the woods!Evidently you are right. Me, being the survivalist and improvising kind of guy that I am, is thinking of splitting a 20 or 30 gallon plastic (good plastic) drum and modifying it to fit the bill. What do you think would be a fair price for such custom work?
I agree and very disappointed that I have not been able to find this man who has already done the work! Anyway, I will send you a pic of the masterpiece when completed. All previous planning, thinking, head-scratching, measuring, cutting and processing will be highly classified. Hope you have a great evening!Thousands in your neck of the woods!![]()

I once seen a john deere mower hood that was cracked in several places. The owner drilled holes on each side of the cracks and zip tied across Crack with hasps on the inside. Looked like Frankenstein stitches, but it worked for them.Evidently you are right.
