Don't throw away your 751 key. Keep it with you at the campground to use in good faith. A frantic young couple approached us a few years ago with their 2year old locked in their camper with the keys. Because someone in our group had one, they were able to get to their daughter without breaking a window.turns out the original lock is 751, so good thing i'm changing them. the luggage doors are getting rotten, might make new doors or will have to buy new ones. If I make new ones, will use the newer lock style.
my 751 is only the compartment key, door key is different. But good point, will keep them just in case..Don't throw away your 751 key. Keep it with you at the campground to use in good faith. That's one of the reasons we only use the dead bolt lock on our latch, and not locking the handle. Second reason is the ears on the handle develop stress fractures from pulling the handle while locked. Using just the lower key lock alleviates that slam/lock worry. I also key a spare stashed outside. Belt/suspender/staple kind of thing.Got new locks on the baggage door of camper, but need new doors as two are getting soft. Camper are a maintenance headache. New door lock also came, so got the camper all secure again with all new locks. Almost did a boo boo, the new lock was locked when I first tested the door, good thing I had put the keys in my pocket and not left them lying on the camper floor.
