Kubota won’t start since it got down to below freezing

I assume it’s the glow plug, it’s always had a bit of trouble starting, it’s from 1980…

Check them first instead of throwing parts (and associated money) at your tractor. Disconnect the wires, take an ampmeter (10-20A range) and connect one at a time to the battery plus. See here: G1900 glow plug check

Also check if voltage is applied to them when you pre-glow.

Poor compression could be another reason for not starting when very cold. But first things first, check the glow plugs.

Do you have a meter?
Disconnect the wire and buss bar and, check Ohms of the plugs.
You can get plugs for it at NAPA or other Auto parts dealers.
Most of the Kubota dealers up here don't stock the glow plugs for it.
