Is this suitable ?
Should I replace with 12-2 Romax until I get factory cords?
What gauge wire did you use.... 12 or 10 would be fine. 14 or 16 too light.

Is the wire stranded? Solid wire is more prone to breakage.

I am used to seeing yellow crimp on terminals on the wire gauges I am suggesting.

Dave_eng is correct in that you should use stranded wire, not solid wire ”romex”. Vibration will embrittle and break the solid wire.

solid wire will always break in/on an engine due to vibration. Probably would work for real temporary use until your OEM replacement shows up but I'd certainly change it as soon as possible if it hasn't busted by then.
