K Kranky New member Apr 5, 2016 5 0 0 USA Apr 6, 2016 #3 Thanks for your reply. I was doing comparisons with the JD1023E. That unit has a spur gear for the final drive. I thought I saw somewhere that Kubota used a helical gear. I can't find that reference again. Cheers
