Walked into one of my shops this morning to greet an overwhelming gas smell. It was my Ford 2000 under the shelter behind my shop leaking. Question to y'all is:
is there an o ring behind this screw that can be replaced to stop this leak? If I turn it, it makes the leak either slow down or speed up, but it does not stop.

It looks like the one on my 8N. If you turn it in clockwise till it stops the needle should plug the orifice. That's fuel OFF. Turned all the way counterclockwise till it stops is RESERVE. Two turns from either stop is ON.

Aw shucks Dan, I didn't read close enough. A Ford 2000 is a tractor. A nice little tractor. My former co-worker has one. British model, if I recall correctly.

Good advice.

Heck, Fordtech is a sharp young feller....he might still know... 🤓

Great information that I surely didn’t know. Thought it was off/on, either way it doesn’t stop
