Hi all,

I've recently picked up a G5200 for a fair price but it needs some engine work (it has oil in the radiator).
While I will be taking a deeper look into the issue soon, I was wondering if a D640, D722 or any other replacement's would fit into the G5200 where there is currently a D600?

Thoughts> ?

Thanks gang!

What about a D662?
Any other engine than the D600 is probably going to have issues getting everything connected.
There are quite a few points that must match before it will work.

The only way your going to know if another engine will work is to compare and measure all the points that matter for it to mate up.

Hi there, sorry about the late contribution, if it helps, a D640 (0.638litre) drops straight in.
My replacement engine was from a different machine, so the inlet and exhaust manifolds plus a few other bits and pieces needed to be original. the sump from memory was ok.
I strongly recommend replacing water-pump and reconditioning the radiator while he engine is out - engine is installed "backwards"
All the best!
