I keep seeing a FZ2100 advertized for sale. I am interested in this mower and I like the out front deck and stering wheel set up.
Could any of you guys please tell me the good, and bad points on this mower.
It is about 3.5 hours away from me, to far just to go look at without knowing what to look for.
Thanks, Jim

A neighbor had one and loved it, it is an interesting design. It has many similarities to the regular F series front mowers but the steer wheels are set closer together and when the steering wheel is at an extreme angle power is sent only to the steer wheels.

It provides the semi-floating deck design of the F series so that there is little to press the grass down prior to the blades plus a true ZTR cut without those annoying dual sticks. I guess there wasn't enough of a market for them for Kubota to have continued making it because it seemed like a great idea. Probably too expensive to compete with a regular ZTR.

There was spirited bidding for it 12 years ago when my neighbor had his equipment auction. I don't recall him ever having any issues with it.

The rear axle is the odd duck of any Kubota, because of that parts can be incredibly hard to find.
That being said if you can get it for a good price, I would take the risk!
