Hi, im looking to to replace my fusible link in my B8200 (that i have recently purchased),
I started it at the weekend and it has burnt out. I have found what I belive to be the issue the working loom has rubbed against the frame shorting a few cables together, so will be rewiring that shortly (if anyone knows the wire sizes would be appreciated, looks from the wiring diagram to be mainly headlights and dynamo).
But my main question is I have read you can replace the fusible link with a standard fuse? Does any body no what size it requires and if its just a standard fuse? I would normally just replace it like for like but the plug has melted with it.
Thanks

In line fuse holder of 30 amps would work just fine.

I would flux, solder and shrink wrap the raw ends too.

I have a chart shown below that show the amperage rating v. color for fusible links. I ASSUME that it applies to your tractor.

i would just use the same amperage fuse or breaker in place of the fusible link. Assuming you can determine the color!
