Full Throttle

ZD28 D1105 when start goes full throttle black smoke

Can you give us more information like hours and the history on it? I would start with the air filter first if it is running okay otherwise.

I assume you’re asking a question. The black smoke, unless it’s billowing, doesn’t mean anything. If it’s stuck on full throttle there is a problem with the throttle linkage or throttle body.

You should take it to the dealer or a qualified mechanic. Shouldn’t be a difficult fix.

Sounded to me like when he starts it, it runs at full throttle and blows some black smoke.

I”ve got the opposite situation.... When I start it.... it runs at IDLE and NO SMOKE.
