I have a B7800 30 horsepower, HSD with under 500 hours that started out with occasional fuel loss to very frequent. I have changed fuel filter with tractor starting after it dies. Anyone have suggestions?

Mike check the fuel tank sometimes stuff floats around the bottom of the tank and blocks the line,, somebody in here found a June bug in the tank doing the same thing also maybe check the fuel lines to see it they are collapsing, check all the silly, easy things first.

Check the vent plug with the fule cap as well. Sometimes a bit of dirt and smudge can get in there and block the air flow, a toothpick can clean that out.

Thank you for your suggestions. I have checked fuel lines up to the injection pump, and have good flow.
Cleaned and inspected fuel cap.
A suggestion I had from a fellow I work with, was to add an injector cleaner. He said with newer EPA standards a fuel additive is suggested on a regular basis.
Still inspecting the inside of the tank, but see nothing obvious.

When you changed the filter did you bleed the air out of the lines? Maybe an air bubble got in there now.

Cut grass this evening to see what would happen. At 45 minutes it did not even act up, then I could hardly keep it running. Pulled all fuel lines loose into filter. then up to injector pump, with good flow to an exterior pump device. The exit side had nothing, but it is close to being above tank level, also this is bolted to the side of the pump, so it could be mechanical driven. From this device a fuel line goes up to the injectors. Kubota mechanics says there is nothing to check?
I appreciate every ones advice, as I have checked them all out.

I had a similar problem on a M4900 and I found a small white plastic screen in the housing of the water separator/filter housing that was clogged with debris.Removed the tiny screen and problem was solved.

Newer EPA fuel standards wouldn't be the culprit. Maybe some cleaner/conditioner is helpful, but depending on where you get your fuel, that stuff is already added in. At the most, it might run less effeciently.
There have been a string of similar posts recently, where the poster had inadvertently put gas in the diesel tank, causing similar issues. That could be it, or an obstruction/fuel restriction. I doubt it's air, or it wouldn't run for that long before acting up.

After trying all the advise from everyone, I ended up changing the fuel assist pump. Now what happens , is when I start the tractor up, it will die at least twice before it warms up, then I can run at full PTO speed. I have bled the fuel line per my manual instructions, which is... fill fuel tank, start engine, shut off after 30 seconds. Anyone have suggestions on this condition?
