Fuel cost does not matter when the wife gets cabin fever and says prep the camper WE ARE GOING FOR A LONG WEEKEND.
Going to fill the tank with 93 octane and damn the torpedoes !
Feel blessed! Don’t mind those that are scrapping up a few dollars to just try to make it to work, they probably deserve it…

Regular gas at my local Costco is now $3.17. Progress but still too high.

Not blessed ! Worked damn hard to get where I am. Spent many years driving a cab as a second job. Drove old cars and know the inside of pawn shops.

Well, you can declare you're not blessed just "worked damn hard...."

If you weren't blessed you may not have had the health to work hard. All a matter of perspective.

Last fill up was $4.35 gallon of gas. I've been driving the escape since the title and tags showed up. Gets little over twice the milage the expedition or the truck does.

Paid 5.49 US at Citgo for 93 octane. A full dollar over the regular grade

Have to agree that it is a matter of perspective. I was given last rites on DAY 2 and parents were told to plan a funeral. So , I will stick to having earned it.

Not happy with what I paid for fuel but we adjusted the family budget for the increase.

Think pretty much everyone has had to make some changes.

Think pretty much everyone has had to make some changes.
Federal government has proven, particularly recently they're not really interested in the people they govern. Hope is on the horizon by taking back power from them: https://conventionofstates.com/

"
Why call a Convention of States?
Simple: to bring power back to the states and the people, where it belongs. Unelected bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. shouldn’t be allowed to make sweeping decisions that impact millions of Americans. But right now, they do. So it all boils down to one question: Who do you think should decide what’s best for you and your family? You, or the feds? We’d vote for the American people every single time."

If you figure in the exchange rate, the Canuck fuel isnt much different than ours.ie 3.7litters = 1 US gallon. 3.7 litters at 1.85 = 6.84 a gallon.. exchange rate as of this morning 1 USD= 1.30 CAD so it comes out about 5.25 a gallon.. Your milage will vary

Wow. California fuel prices at this station as of yesterday. Glad California is setting the standards here. So many politicians getting ideas on how to save us should help with fuel prices everywhere. /s

Filled my diesel transfer tank a few days ago for $4.49 a gallon for off road diesel. The prices are coming down but still really high compared to pre-Biden prices.

Stations are at $2.99 in NH yesterday! Great progress! Thanks to Biden releasing some reserve and convincing OPEC to ramp up production. That’s government working for us. Thanks Uncle Joe.

Ain't it great, destroy our national security and hand over our wealth to countries that hate us, brilliant.

The US is on track for record oil production in 2022/23, and crude oil is now less than $80 per barrel. Whatever is causing high fuel prices it’s not oil production.
