Fuel filter

Anybody install a spin-on fuel filter to a 4701 or similar? I’d like a little more than just the bowl....

It already has a spin-on fuel filter mounted on the RH side of the engine. It's right above the injection pump.

The thing you might be calling a "bowl" is a water separator. It should have a red ring that will ride at the interface between any water collected and the diesel. If it goes up in the bowl, time to empty and clean it. See directions in your owner's manual.

Thanks - I know how the separator works. I’m used to seeing a filter attached to it.
