Ran up on a buddy today on the side of the road in his fish feed truck. It shut down and would not start. He had a new filter, so I started to take the old one off, I got sprayed good. I never saw a filter under pressure like that. Anybody know what could cause that filter to have that much pressure?

I probably has a common rail fuel system. Some of those run 40-60 psi from the pump, similar to car fuel injection systems.

He must have something in the tank plugging the filter.
