Fuel cap on my BX1500D is a complete struggle to take off after it's been on a while. I have to resort to a strap wrench to get it off. Keep in mind, when I finish filling it, I am not cross threading it and it goes on without issue and never super tight.
I swear it's pulling vacuum but it runs fine. I do notice the fuel cap gasket is usually twisted and needs re-seated in it's recess after I do get it off.
Our old RTV900 at work does the same thing occasionally. Again, no issues with it's performance.
Am I the only one who has seen this on two Kubotas?

a customer informed me years ago on an RTV that putting a second gasket in the cap solved his issues. May be worth a try?

I'll get a 2nd gasket and try. Both fuel caps, (work's RTV and my tractor), appear to use the same cap from all outward appearances.
I put air through the cap after I bought it last Spring.
I'll blow out the vent again tomorrow and see if it makes a difference. I can do the same with the 900's cap at work. I can't believe if it is plugged that the tractor could possibly run with that much vacuum on the tank.
It appears the masses don't have an issue with the caps so it just might be my dumb luck I have or work with two Kubotas that do have this issue. :(
