looking to put a 12v actuater on my chute defector, amazon has a bunch, and it looks like i need around a 6” stroke, and i prefer the side mount. can anyone help with a proven design? ,other than the 700 dollar kubota part. thx in advance

I bought a kit from ebay, search on "Merit Automation" on ebay or youtube should get results. It was a complete kit with weather sealed actuator, sealed wires with control switch for about $160 i believe. The seller also sells actuators alone or bare bones kits on different price points. I've only had it 1 year but has been flawless. he even sends a template to drill holes in the chute, makes everything easy.
