I recently acquired a Kubota L225 2WD tractor and i should have looked closer because one of the front rims was cracked. I thought I could just buy a replacement but turns out that this rim is somewhat of a unicorn. After spending hours online searching salvage yards and coming up empty handed I don't know what to do. Surely i'm not the first person to be in this situation. My question is, is there another rim from another brand that will work? The tire is a 20x8.00-10 turf tire with four lugs. I'm not opposed to switching to ag rims/tires, i just don't know what's available that will fit.

Thanks for the tip. I contacted Wold but unfortunately they said this wheel was too small for their capabilities.

unfortunately that rim won't fit, it's a 4 on 4 bolt circle and mine is 4 on 4.5. I think I may have finally found a rim though on tractorhouse.com, just waiting for it to ship and i'll see if it fits.

West Kentucky parts store was the first place i called but they didn't have them. I ended up getting two rims from a B6100 from All States Ag Parts and it was only $115 with shipping. I'm definitely saving their number! I was excited at owning my first kubota but after the whole wheel experience, i must say i am soured on it. You would think a large company like Kubota would have better customer support and cross references for discontinued parts. Luckily there are forums like this for people to get the answers they need.

Remember, your tractor was made in the mid 70's, and there was not 100,000 of them built and shipped to this country - so a 42 year old tractor that still runs well speaks volumes for the company!;) Sometimes an older style tractor will have problems finding parts ......just ask the grey market tractor people!

Glad you got a fix that didnt hurt the pocketbook too bad!

An update on the rims I ordered from tractorpartsasap, they were the wrong size, i was looking for 20x8.00-10 and the rims they sent were 9" rims. All may not be lost though since I ordered two and I think I can put 6.9-9 tires on them and still be about the same height. I'm glad that in this case I don't have 4WD where the tire size would be a little more critical.
