Hi,

I would like to connect a front snowblower on my B7100. I would like to use similar way as the old kubota snowblower attachment. This old attachment was using direct engine shaft connection with an electric clutch. I would like to know if someone has experience to build their own shaft connection (shaft and clutch). Is someone have recommendation about clutch to use etc.

Thank you

Do you have the crank with the splines sticking out or the flat pulley with 3 holes?

If you have the type with the splines #1 task is to find that connection, If I remember right that's the hard part.

Yes the pulley has a splined shaft . I have found an electric clutch with 1" shafts and maximum torque of 110 FT/LB’s. I'm not sure if it will be enough for a snowblower

This a picture of the shaft. Diameter is a little bit less than 30 mm. It is probably 1 1/8". I count 22 teeth but I'm not sure that 22 teeth = 22 splines

Kubota part # 66494-88540 is a shaft that I think will fit the spline if you have the pulley with the 3 bolt holes with the splined hub attached. It is 8 3/4 " long and has a tapered end with threads.

The adaptor for the 22 splines shaft seems very difficult to find. Why not removing the original flange on the crank shaft pulley and replacing it by an other flange with a more standard diameter and number of splines? Is someone know where it is possible to get this kind of flange?
