Hello. Im new to Orange Tractor Talks thanks for letting me join. I just bought an MX4800. I did my 50 hr. service, and everything went good. I just have one question. When I greased the front axle gear case supports my brother noticed it rise up we were not sure if he saw grease coming out maybe looked like it moved. I put about 4 pumps in. We double checked it a few day later held a screw driver next to it to look for movement, and put 2 pumps in, and you could see it move so Im just wondering if this is normal. Thanks for any help

Grease guns produce a lot of pressure.so when you ar pumping greas into a confined area,it will push out wherever it can. The surface area around the knuckle is enough to generate a little lift with the grease. Lighter grease=less lift, heavier grease=more lift.

Grease guns are used to tension tracks on crawlers and excavators, lever grease guns can reach as high as 10,000 psi.
