I am looking at a lightly used disc harrow from Landpride. According to the website it weighs around 719 pounds. I have been looking online and trying to figure out if my L225 with lift that much with no luck, and if it will pull a 72" disc harrow. I know I will probably need weights in the front of it also.

What do you guys think?

A 72" on a tractor with 16 Draw bar HP is really going to work (or stall) trying to pull a disk that big.
And like I stated in the other thread 650lbs is stated as new lift capacity, so older unit will have less lift.

4-5 foot, at most, in sandy soil. Get the biggest diameter discs you can, them little ones hardly dent the ground...:D:D
