Why not.

I think its great that we (at least some of us) still have a sense of humor and can laugh at things (no matter how politically incorrect) in today's ultra sensitive world.

I have a White Privilege edition Land Cruiser.

And some feminist will STILL scream at them for daring to create a Men's Only Edition.

(By the way, GPS was not invented by a woman.)

Actually a woman made GPS possible:
On December 6, 2018, Gladys West was inducted into the Air Force Space and Missile Pioneers Hall of Fame in recognition of her work on an extremely accurate geodetic Earth model, which was ultimately used to determine the orbit of the GPS constellation

Wonder if there is a hand that comes out the steering wheel to slap you in the face for being a white male?

I’m aware the ad is intended to be a humorous kudos to women.

But it’s also saying if we had relied on women to create cars we’d have windshield wipers, GPS, a heater, rear view mirror, backup camera, and turn signals (if I remember the list correctly). Nothing else; just that stuff in a pile on the floor. The ad is kind of a backhanded compliment to women’s contribution to the modern automobile. Came across to me about like when everyone cheers for the “challenged” kid that scores the final basket in a game where it doesn’t matter and his assigned defender mysteriously stepped away. And that’s not complimentary to the women who truly made valuable contributions to the modern auto. I do get the “joke” but it missed its target badly, at least for me.

Also, looking forward to their ad for men’s history month with the women’s edition with no engine, transmission, suspension, or body.

We know the woman version will have interval wipers because that feature was invented by a man and then Ford tried to steal his idea.

Ford missed the mark on pandering. That is on the verge of the Gilette advert.

So what would the women's edition look like based on that logic? Salesman..."OK, mam, here's your new Ford Explorer." Then proceeds to hand her a box with a rear view mirror in it, wiper blades, and turn signal bulbs.

No, lord no. Please don't include the turn signals. It drives me bonkers when they are driving slow in the left lane with one blinker left on. 😄

Ford, in an effort to be all woke like, fails to understand they just misgengered 92 million "non birthing people".
Maybe they can add the permanent fuel filler hose as an option to the "womens" version.

That's the best case that can be made for the false claim that she "invented GPS". That's the revisionist, feminist friendly version.

It would be just as accurate to say that Issac Newton invented GPS.

Here's a weird idea - give credit where credit is due, instead of making things up!

Well I know Toyota sure didn’t steal it. My work truck trim package basic Tundra doesn’t have intermittent wipers. The one thing about this truck I don’t like. Who the heck makes a road vehicle in 2017 that doesn’t have intermittent wipers???? Toyota, that’s who. 🙄

Does the Explorer get lost and refuse to ask for directions? Mine would!

I posted a comment on the the Men's Only Edition Explorer video this morning on YouTube. I found it interesting there were no comments when I posted. I said. " Now, please introduce the women's Only Edition. LOL" I can see the post I made on my PC. However, I was on my phone later and looked at the video again and noticed there were no comments at all. I opened my laptop and no comments display either with it. Unless something is happening on my end, it looks like they have it set so someone can post a comment, but no one else can see it. (Y'all can confirm that I suppose.) Not surprised if that's the case.

I also just left the “first” comment. It was quite similar to yours so I assume it will go away shortly.

I can still see my comment using my PC, which is how I posted. I don't see yours. So, they have it set allowing one to post, but not display for anyone else to see.
