(Also posted on TBN.)

Just bought a Ford 101, 14", 3-bottom plow that needs parts. Moldboard stamped 104409.

Specifically, shares (points) and shins are needed.

Found LH shins at Agri Supply but don't know the difference between LH and RH. If it is the direction the dirt is thrown when looking from behind the plow and tractor then I have a "right hand" plow. No shares at Argi Supply.

Crescent Forge is out of business, TSC doesn't list plow parts, Valu-Bilt doesn't list the Ford 101, Sweigard has been sent an email but no reply yet.

Share part # 104410
Shin part # 104403

Any help in getting this figured out would be appreciated.

Well lil buddy I'm shocked that Agri Supply does not have what your looking for. Argi Supply only has like 4 or 5 stores most are in North Carolina. I happen to live about 25 minutes away from our store here in Virginia and man I'm blown away with the whole selection they have inside. Here in Richmond we have the normal fan faves of Northern Tool store and Harbor Freight but I cant tell ya this you can easily fit 3 of our local Northern Tool inside the building of Agri Supply itself, thats not including the 4 acres of yard they have on the outside of the building. They always ask at check out for your zip code and I had asked how far away do they have customers come to shop and I was told some trek down from Pa to Va to shop in the store. Thats at least a 200mile hike for farm parts.

Maybe Agri Supply has the parts but don't list them on the Internet. I'll give them a call tomorrow. Thanks.

You were right about Agri Supply. Although their search engine didn't show the parts it turns out that putting in the part numbers brings up exactly what is needed:
Shin 19035 $11.95
Share 32009 $17.95

I'll check locally first for the parts since shipping to CA will likely be outrageous. Those things are HEAVY.

Thanks to Eric for steering me back to Agri Supply.

Oh no problem man, I was pretty sure they were bound to have what your looking for. I could tell just from shopping experience from around the store you could damn near buy every part separate and practically build your own.

Here is a twist. I was in the John Deere dealer looking at Stihl chainsaws and happened to ask the parts guy about the shins and shares.

After some looking he came up with a supplier that sold the shins for $11+, and the shares for $14+. This is with no shipping charge. I just kind of fell into the deal somehow. At times it pays to be dumb.
