Filters

It's been awhile since I've posted or been on site. Nearest dealer closed
its doors sometime since last year. Tractor now has about 130 hours on
it and need to change oil and Filters both on engine and would like to
change also filter and fluid on HST transmission but can't find and filter
numbers on existing filter or in owners manual. It's a 2010 B3200
4cyl . Closest dealer is about 4 hrs away. Can get Baldwin brand
filters from my diesel mechanic but since we don't have any numbers
we can only go by listing in his catalog not being able to cross reference
any numbers. Help would be very much appreciated.

Try NAPA or Advance Auto, they can look it up by your tractor model.

Try this www.colemanequip.com and just look your tractor model up. If you want real Kubota parts they will ship them to you direct.

NAPA can look them up by application. There filters are WIX I believe. I have used them on my B3200.

Well. the filter fit and I got the oil changed.Next is the
HST transmission filter and fluid. Don't mind changing fluids
but trying to get old fluid and oil to recycle place is a pain
in the lower extremities if u know what i mean. Sure was
disappointed that the local Kubota dealer went totally out
of business. Bad enough he was over 60 miles away, now its
totally gone darn it anyhow. That's life, they had 5 dealerships
from San Jose to Ukiah and they closed all of them. Well
better get off this computer before I get run off by the

Regarding Baldwin filters I think they're the best around. I've had good success talking directly with Baldwin Tech Rep by phone to obtain filter numbers crossing to match specific applications.

Some perhaps many filters are proprietary for the first year or two of equipment life and no aftermarket supplier will have an 'exact' cross--although several possibilties in their or some line will be close enough to work. Not recommended but a possibility.

Best is OEM even if you have to order it.

Consider that some dealers will ship free if you meet a minimum purchase requirement: might consider buying two sets to meet the minimum.

One HST stay with Kubota top-tier fluids especially during warranty period. One less thing to argue about in event of failure AND in case of HST you WILL notice the difference compared to other fluids.
