Value depends on the popularity of the item and the tractor that it fits. I did check the B2550 for availability of parts and a lot of the mounting parts are discontinued. This to me would indicate that the snowblower is fairly old. The older the equipment the less desirable they are, however, if you find the one person that is looking for this snowblower, you have a customer. Now, for the price, it is difficult to say without seeing some pictures. I have sold some snowblower complete packages for as much as $3500, and I had one that was about 10 or 15 years old that I had advertised for over 3 years until someone finally wanted it. I sold it for $500 and was glad to see it go. The buyer needed some auguer parts and that was the reason that it sold. If the snowblower will fit a more modern tractor, then the desirability of the snowblower goes up. An example would be a snowblower that fits a 2004 Kubota BX2200 will still fit a BX23S, so someone looking for an older piece of equipment to fit a more modern tractor might consider buying the snowblower, albeit at a much lower price than a more modern snowblower with all the upgrades that come with newer equipment.
Do the research of what it fits and then advertise it on the forums with lots of pictures. Pictures are the only way to determine the condition without putting boots on the ground.

'value' also depends upon a buyers 'need' and the weather.
snowblower ?? NO sale today due to NO SNOW. I've got 5 or 6 walkbehinds, tracked, wheels, big, small.no sales and other ad prices are 1/2 of what they should be ! I can buy a complete running 8/24 snowblower for just 2 1/2x what the starter costs ! When you post ad, be sure to list what machines yours bolts onto !
I'm looking for a Craftsman rider(poulan, huskvarna),no deck as I have a complete BNIB Berco blower. Literally 10 bolts, 2 clips,2 wires and in business. Can't find a $500 rider to mount my $3000 blower.

MMM, again, post what it fits. Kubota model numbers don't make any logical sense to me. I'd like SBF for SnowBlowerFront, SBR for SnowBlowerRear, MMM for well MidMountMower, some digits for width of implement, maybe a tractor series as well ... I suppose the guys that live/work in Kubotaland understand the numbers...I just don't need to.

As for realistic prices, scan similar units on CL, KIJIJI,FBMP and go for 70% of 'asking' ?? If it's takin gup space then ANYTHING to get it gone is good. I sold my 20t OLD shop press for $100 just to regain 6 sq ft of garage space, gave away a BNB 5by8 trailer to get a parking spot back... 'value' has different meanings to everyone.

I've got a 50 year old 15HP Creaftsman 42" rider taking up space, that is in near perfect condition.
I need to get rid of it ( I have a SCAG ZT ),..... but can't find a (cheap) buyer.
Such is life!

These 2550 & 2550A were geared towards the older B7100's as both of them were an add on's for a couple of mid 90's B7100HST models I have. You're right that all parts, brackets etc have long been discontinued so for anyone wanting to outfit their B7100 it would be great.

I am not sure what other model tractors these would be applicable for (subframe mounting brackets etc)...

As far as location, Im in New England which is a great place for snowblowers but typically buyers are tighter than 2 coats of paint and sellers ask quite a bit more in this region vs other parts of the country.

Other issue with my location is the distance as all of the tractors/equipment I've purchased have been from out of state sellers/dealers as up here in ME sellers take to heart the term rusty gold, but they literally ask gold prices for a pile of rust haha.

Thanks again for the insight.

Here' a pic for reference.

Give me a price (extremely inexpensive because I live in New England) and I will consider it after offering you half of your asking price. That is a nice tractor. I rented one once when I needed something larger than a shovel.

Thanks, i bought that 7100 and it took forever to arrange shipping as nobody wanted that load due to the pickup spot.

haha seems spot on how my sales go up here, plus there's never a shortage of off the wall trade offers.

Where in New England do you live? Pick a large town nearby if you don't want to say exactly.
