Been lurking here for a few months and decided it was time to join. Bough 20 acres this spring in Va and have started my Orange collection, Have an l3301 with a few implements and a z421 zeroturn. Love all my orange kit. Anyway, heppy to be here here and soak in all the good info. have a good one..

Bit more south in nelson. Had to get farther away from nova. Spend my summers on farm in idaho. Dad retired and farms and thought id do the same. Spent most of this year getting fields and infrastructure in shape. Winter project will be working o. The 115 year old farmhouse. Just finished windows in time for winter.

My wife is from NOVA - I am not sure one can get far enough from there!!! Traffic takes on a whole new meaning.

Yea I was born and raised there. 50 years was more than enough

We looked at a few properties up there before we settled on SW VA. Beautiful country around Nelson. We also just bought a farm property in South Central VA with a 1911 farm house. Been real busy fixing up the land and clearing off old fallen down barns.

As luck would have it I am a pretty avid woodworker. win/win
