I built bale forks for the last tractor I had which had euro style bucket attachment. The Kubota also has the same mount. I went to use the forks and they wouldn't go on, I don't know if I built them wrong or the standard is brand specific. I worked on it and about have it rebuilt but it's not what I was planning on.

I don't want to sound critical, but what are you looking for from the forum members?

It is often helpful to include clear pictures to demonstrate the issue.

Little confused as I don't think Kubota makes their US models available with a Euro coupling, they only supply them with SSQA couplers.

John deere make a euro style coupler for their loaders.

Euro style couplers are loader arm specific or as you put it brand specific, only SSQA mounts are truly universal.

I did find aftermarket suppliers of Euro mounts for kubota loaders, but they too look to be loader specific.

No, sorry, that's not correct.
The Euro style couplers named "Euronorm" or short, "EURO2", are absolute universal.
This standard is neither loderarm specific nor brand specific and it fits tractors from about 30 HP up to over 250 HP.
Every implement/attachment like buckets, forks, graple, which is manufactured within this standard fits to every Frontloader with a "Euronorm" coupler.

The "Euronorm" is the most popular System for frontloaders in europe and in many other parts of the world. - You can get it, if you want, for every Kubota-Frontloader (except the very small ones I guess).

@ 3bfarm: which is the critical point that doesn't fit? The lock bolts?

I was not looking for anything from the forum, just making a comment in case others run into the same problem. My problem was the hooks on the top were too wide. also my other tractor was straight across on the top, the rod part was even to the side plates. On this one the side plates stick out around a half inch so I had to move my hooks out farther. The bottom holes did not line up either, I had to move the holes back and down a little. It was not a big deal to fix but I needed to move some bales and assumed it would fit. On top of that my portable welder decided to quit working, just having a bad day.

Here in the states Kubota loaders don't follow the Euro attachment standards, you can't even get one factory equipped with it.
I know it's completely different in and around Europe, like Germany where you are.
The available units here are different between loader US models, that try and follow John Deere Euro hitches here which seam to be far from standardized, especially older models of the hitch.

I'll bet you don't use SSQA (Skid Steer Quick Attach) over there, that is the standard universal for attachments here.

One thing I wish is that we would have converted over to, is the euro three point quick hitch (triangle design), it's a much easier to hook up to, and better design than the current US standard quick hitch.
The euro design can also incorporate PTO hook up operations where there is no such hook up options on the US models.

Hello Wolfman,

You are too far ahead...

Three point coupling systems:
The accord weiste triangle is used at nearly 100% with front linkages,
At the rear Walterscheid style hook type quick couplers are standard today
https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fan..._mit_Fanghaken_Cat3,_Case_IH_Puma_225_CVX.jpg

The gangl system, triangle plus pto is very new and until now not being used in the field often,
But it will increase safe coupling of course enormously.
