Engine running backwards?

When I am sitting on the seat of this Kubota tractor I am restoring, it appears like the fan is turning counter-clockwise backwards. Is this normal for kubota engines?

I will add the model of the tractor:
B6000 F6R2PTO3 Early Model

Thanks

I would say yes, but can't be 100% sure till you give us the model. ;)

The Model of the tractor is B6000 F6R2PTO3 Early Model. When I sit on the drivers seat the fan appears to be turning counter clockwise. Is this normal for this model? Thank you very much.

That is correct for 95 percent of engines. There are some fans that rotate "backwards" , but that is because of serpentine belts.

Yes that motor spins counterclockwise.
very common for the fan to push air threw the radiator rather than the normal pulling air too.
Why do you ask, Just curious, or is there a problem?

Thanks for your help. Does that mean that the power takeoff will run backwards? Will that affect the implements that I put on the tractor? Also, what is the advantage of building an engine that turn counter clockwise?

I have no clue why they picked counter-clockwise rotation as a standard for there motors but they did???

The PTO rotation is not really based on the motor rotation as my motor turns counter-clockwise and both the Rear and mid PTO's spin clockwise.

The B6000 and a few other gray market Kubota's were designed to have a counter-clockwise rotation PTO to be able to run a special tiller that was in production and use at that time.

Somewhere around the same time, they all went to a standard clockwise rotation, and most if not all use that as a standard now.

It's not turning counter clockwise, if you look at it from thr front of tractor you ill find tht it is turning clockwise as it is supposed to. Just like sitting in a car without serpentine belt. It will be turning counter clockwise, but looking froim the front it is turning clockwise, Hope this will help.
