Hi all, i am needing to replace my engine block on my b7100 since it has a crack in it. I was wondering what the differences are between the d750 and d950 engine blocks. Ant help would be appreciated.

There are several versions of the D950, they all have different options.
If your looking to drop the entire engine in, it will work with minor to moderate modifications to the B7100.
The mounting points, bellhousing, flywheel and such are the exact same.

If your looking to just swap the block, that won't work as the head and front gearcase and associated parts are all different.

If you just need a D750 block, I've got a good block here that could use a home.

750cc vs 930cc. I doubt they're the same bore. But a 930cc motor would be a bit more powerful. Depends if you need more power (other than the obvious).

I appreciate the info, I would take you up on your offer for the D750 block but unfortunately the engine in my b7100 was a D950 that was installed before I bought the tractor. So since the front gear case and components are different then I will need to find a good D950 block. Thanks again.

Thanks for the info Paul, I don’t really need more power since I just use the tractor on occasion and not too many big projects.
Thanks again..

How do you know the block is cracked, as that's EXTREAMLY rare with these engines, I've never seen a cracked block and I've seen a lot of trashed engines.
The only parts of a D950 that won't cross over is the head and pistons, all other parts will cross over.

There is a used D950 block on ebay but that looks scary!
