great news, a whole lot cheaper than 400$ I'm surprised a shop can replace the shaft and seals for 80$ thanks for updating

Corollary

How much opening width do you lose with an aftermarket 6" cylinder?

Dan
Good question, and it would depend on the retracted length, and no doubt some other geometric considerations, but you're aware of that.

McMaster-Carr has a selection of hydraulic cylinders including a 2"x5" model.

Oh! That’s good to know! I googled for hours but somehow didn’t run across that.
Thanks.

I posted the McMaster-Carr link as a point of reference for retracted length and such, rather than to indicate that they have a replacement that would be suitable for your application. It appears that you've found what you need and at a reasonable price too.

Apologies for dropping the ball with this thread.
I ended up learning two options for folks that run into this problem of finding a 2”x5” cylinder for a 55” Wicked Grapple.
1) I talked with the manufacturer/ distributor for these Grizzly cylinders in North Carolina. Nice and helpful folks!
Model #107670A is the number needed to order from AgriSupply.
(800) 345-0169. $79.99 plus shipping.
This part number is NOT listed on their catalog page! It’s an odd ball.
2) Also, found a hydraulic shop near me that can replace the entire shaft and rebuild with new seals for about the same price.

Outstanding! Lots of 55’s floating around, and with EA being bottoms up, this will be a good archive.
